I’ve always found the serenity prayer encouraging. It begins, “God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference…” I pursued counseling as a profession because I believe people can be equipped with the tools they need to process their pain, the courage needed to adjust their sails to the winds, and wisdom to confidently navigate the storms of life.

Experience

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a background rooted in Marriage & Family Therapy from a Christian perspective. My experience includes community mental health, intensive inpatient therapy, non-profit outpatient counseling centers, and in-hospital crisis evaluation for adults and children.

I enjoy working with adolescents (16 +), adults, couples, and families. My holistic approach to counseling includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems Therapy, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).

Education & Background

I graduated from LeTourneau University with a M.A. in Marriage & Family Therapy. In my spare time, I enjoy living life with my best friend and wife, Lindsey. I also enjoy volunteering within community organizations and my faith community.
