Having personally gone through a divorce, I have gained a unique perspective on the emotional and psychological toll that such experiences can have. This personal experience has fueled my passion for helping women heal from divorce and infidelity, supporting them as they rebuild their lives and reclaim their sense of self-worth and confidence.

Growing up as a Spanish speaker I had to learn to navigate my world in 2 languages. This has allowed me to serve within the Spanish speaking community. I can see the relief on their faces when someone is able to help them in their native language.

Education & Licensure

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in the state of Texas. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Media Production, which equipped me with skills in communication, storytelling, and understanding the nuances of human behavior. I furthered my education with a Master’s degree in School Counseling from Lamar University, a program that provided me with the necessary knowledge and tools to guide students through personal and academic challenges.

I believe that everyone has a unique story, shaped by experiences, struggles, and triumphs. I hold to the belief that no one’s story is ever truly finished, personal growth is an ongoing journey. My approach to counseling is rooted in the belief that struggles don’t define us, but rather how we respond to and learn from those struggles is what shapes our path forward. With a deep passion for learning and growth, I am committed to helping individuals navigate their challenges in a way that fosters healing, resilience, and self-discovery.

Experience & Specializations

With over 20 years of experience in education, I have a deep understanding of the challenges students and families face. I began my career as a bilingual teacher and later transitioned into a role of a school counselor, where I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of students and families. My extensive experience has equipped me with the skills to address a variety of issues, including academic struggles, emotional challenges, and personal development.

Personal Background

I was born and raised in the suburbs of Houston. I have 2 boys, ages 15 & 11. I enjoy spending time with them and doing all things band. My oldest plays the trumpet and my youngest wants to play the trombone. I love watching movies, simple crafts, and of course, shopping!
